अन्येनैकेन भागेन रजोराश्या खगेश्वर / मिश्रितं भवतीत्येवं ज्ञातव्यं नान्यथा क्वचित्
anyenaikena bhāgena rajorāśyā khageśvara / miśritaṃ bhavatītyevaṃ jñātavyaṃ nānyathā kvacit
हे खगेश्वर, आणखी एका अतिरिक्त भागाने ते रजोराशी—धुळीच्या राशीशी संयुक्त झाले की मिश्रित होते; असेच जाणावे, अन्यथा कुठेही नाही।
Lord Vishnu
Concept: Addition of one part of rajas (likened to a heap of dust) produces a specific mixture; this is the correct understanding universally.
Vedantic Theme: Determinacy of causal structure in prakṛti: guṇa-proportions condition experience and manifestation; epistemic certainty in tattva-vicāra.
Application: Diagnose agitation/restlessness (rajas) as an additive factor in one’s mental mixture; reduce rajas via regulated action, breath, and attention discipline.
Primary Rasa: shanta

This verse stresses that mixtures used in rites must follow exact, stated ratios; the result is considered valid only when prepared as prescribed.
In the Preta Kanda, instructions are given with technical precision; this line reinforces that ritual materials (often connected to śrāddha and offerings) must be prepared exactly as taught.
Follow authentic procedure and correct measurements in any sacred duty or ethical practice—carelessness and improvisation are discouraged when a rule is explicitly given.
