प्रतिनन्द्य स तां याञ्चां कर्तुमावश्यकं गत: । निममज्ज बृहद् ध्यायन् कालिन्दीसलिले शुभे ॥ ३७ ॥
pratinandya sa tāṁ yācñāṁ kartum āvaśyakaṁ gataḥ nimamajja bṛhad dhyāyan kālindī-salile śubhe
दुर्वासा मुनींनी महाराज अंबरीषांची विनंती आनंदाने स्वीकारली; पण आवश्यक वैदिक कर्म करण्यासाठी ते यमुना नदीकाठी गेले. तेथे शुभ कालिंदीच्या जलात स्नान करून ते निराकार ब्रह्माचे ध्यान करू लागले.
