नमो ब्रह्मण्यदेवाय रामायाकुण्ठमेधसे । उत्तमश्लोकधुर्याय न्यस्तदण्डार्पिताङ्‌घ्रये ॥ ७ ॥

Transliteration

namo brahmaṇya-devāya rāmāyākuṇṭha-medhase uttamaśloka-dhuryāya nyasta-daṇḍārpitāṅghraye

Translation

ब्रह्मण्यदेव श्रीरामांना नमस्कार—ज्यांची मेधा कधीही चिंता-व्याकुळतेने ढळत नाही. आपण उत्तमश्लोकांमध्ये अग्रणी आहात; दंडाधिकारापलीकडील ऋषी ज्यांच्या चरणी दंड ठेवून शरण जातात, त्या चरणांना आम्ही वंदन करतो.
