श्रीराजोवाच कथमेवं गुणो देश: केन वा भगवन् कृत: । प्रश्नमेनं समाचक्ष्व परं कौतूहलं हि न: ॥ २८ ॥
śrī-rājovāca katham evaṁ guṇo deśaḥ kena vā bhagavan kṛtaḥ praśnam enaṁ samācakṣva paraṁ kautūhalaṁ hi naḥ
महाराज परीक्षित म्हणाले—हे परम सामर्थ्यवान ब्राह्मण! हा देश असा गुणयुक्त व प्रभावी कसा झाला? आणि कोणी याला असे सामर्थ्यवान केले? कृपा करून हा प्रश्न सांगावा; मला ऐकण्याची फार उत्कंठा आहे.
