Parīkṣit’s Final Instruction
न तत्रात्मा स्वयंज्योतिर्यो व्यक्ताव्यक्तयो: पर: । आकाश इव चाधारो ध्रुवोऽनन्तोपमस्तत: ॥ ८ ॥
na tatrātmā svayaṁ-jyotir yo vyaktāvyaktayoḥ paraḥ ākāśa iva cādhāro dhruvo ’nantopamas tataḥ
तेथे आत्मा स्वयंप्रकाश आहे; तो दृश्य स्थूल देह व अदृश्य सूक्ष्म देह यांच्या पलीकडे आहे. आकाशासारखा तो बदलत्या देहस्थितीचा अचल आधार आहे; म्हणून आत्मा अनंत व भौतिक उपमेपलीकडचा आहे।
