प्र मंहिष्ठाय बृहते बृहद्रये सत्यशुष्माय तवसे मतिं भरे । अपामिव प्रवणे यस्य दुर्धरं राधो विश्वायु शवसे अपावृतम्

IAST Transliteration

prá maṃhiṣṭhā́ya bṛhaté bṛhádraye satyá-śuṣmā́ya távase matíṃ bhare | apā́m-iva praváṇe yásya durdháraṃ rā́dho viśvā́yu śávase apā́vṛtam ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Forth do I bring my thought to him most bounteous, great, of great riches, of true might, the strong; whose bounty, hard to be withstood, like waters on a slope, is opened out, unobstructed, life-bestowing, by his power.

Translation

मी माझी मति (विचार/प्रार्थना) त्या परम उदार, महान, महाधन, सत्य-शक्तियुक्त, बलवान् याच्याकडे पुढे अर्पितो. ज्याचे दुर्धर्ष दान ढालावरून वाहणाऱ्या पाण्यासारखे उघडून, अडथळ्याविना प्रसृत होऊन, ‘विश्वायु’ (जीवनदायी) बनते—त्याच्या शौर्याने ते प्रकट होते.
