अस्तावि मन्म पूर्व्यं ब्रह्मेन्द्राय वोचत । पूर्वीरृतस्य बृहतीरनूषत स्तोतुर्मेघा असृक्षत
ástāvi mánma pū́rvyaṃ bráhméndrāya vocata | pū́vīr ṛtásya bṛhatī́r anūṣata stotúr meghā́ asṛkṣata
The ancient thought is lauded; the holy spell for Indra is uttered. The many lofty strains of Order have sounded forth: the singer’s clouds have been loosed abroad.
प्राचीन मननाची स्तुती झाली; इंद्रासाठी पवित्र ब्रह्म-मंत्र उच्चारला गेला. ऋत (धर्म-व्यवस्था) याच्या अनेक उन्नत स्तुतिगीते निनादली; स्तोत्याचे मेघ जणू मुक्त होऊन सर्वत्र पसरले.
