गिरींरज्रान् रेजमानां अधारयद् द्यौः क्रन्ददन्तरिक्षाणि कोपयत्। समीचीने धिषणे वि ष्कभायति वृष्णः पीत्वा मद उक्थानि शंसति

IAST Transliteration

girī́ṃ rājrā́n réjamānāṃ adhārayad dyáuḥ krandad antárikṣāṇi kopayat | samīcīné dhiṣáṇe ví skabhāyati vṛ́ṣṇaḥ pītvā́ máda ukthā́ni śaṃsati

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

He held aloft the trembling mountains and their ridges; Heaven roared, and he set the mid-air regions in commotion. In due-ordered bowls he braces all apart: the Bull, when he hath drunk, in rapture chants the hymns of praise.

Translation

त्याने थरथरणारे पर्वत आणि त्यांच्या कटक-रेषा उंच धरून ठेवल्या; द्यौ (आकाश) गर्जले, आणि त्याने अंतरिक्ष-प्रदेशांना खळबळून सोडले. सम्यक्-क्रमाने ठेवलेल्या धिषणा (पात्र/बुद्धि-आधार) मध्ये तो सर्वांना वेगवेगळे स्थिर करतो; वृषभ (बलवान) पिऊन, मदात, उक्थ (स्तुति-हिम्न) गातो.
