या ते वसोर्वात इषुः सा त एषा तया नो मृड । रायस्पोषेण समिषा मदन्तो मा ते अग्ने प्रतिवेशा रिषाम
yā́ te vásor vā́te íṣuḥ sā́ ta eṣā́ táyā no mṛḍa | rāyas-poṣéṇa sám-iṣā mádanto mā́ te agne práti-veśā ríṣāma
What arrow of thine, O beneficent one, is in the wind—this is that (same); with it be gracious unto us. Rejoicing with wealth and thriving, with gathered nourishment, O Agni, let not thy successive entrants do us harm.
हे वसु (उदार/कल्याणकारी), वाऱ्यात असलेली तुझी बाणासारखी शक्ती (इषु)—तीच ही आहे; तिच्याद्वारे आम्हांवर कृपा कर. धन-समृद्धी व संचित पोषणाने आनंदित होत—हे अग्ने—तुझ्याकडे क्रमाने येणारे अतिथी/आगंतुक आम्हांस इजा करू नयेत.
