Sukta 2
तव चतस्रः प्रदिशस्तव द्यौस्तव पृथिवी तवेदमुग्रोर्व१न्तरिक्षम्। तवेदं सर्वमात्मन्वद् यत् प्राणत् पृथिवीमनु
táva cátasraḥ pradíśas táva dyaúḥ táva pṛthivī́ tavédám ugrór antárikṣam | tavédáṁ sárvam ātmanvád yát prāṇát pṛthivī́m ánu ||
Thine are the four quarters; thine the heaven; thine the earth; thine is this mid-air of the fierce One. Thine is all this that is ensouled—whatsoever breathes, spread abroad upon the earth.
तुझ्याच चार दिशा; तुझाच द्यौ (आकाश); तुझीच पृथ्वी; उग्राचा हा अंतरिक्षही तुझाच. जे काही आत्मवान् आहे—जे काही श्वास घेते, पृथ्वीवर सर्वत्र पसरलेले—ते सर्व तुझेच आहे.
