പിന്നീട് അവൾ മയൂരിയായി മാറിയപ്പോൾ, ആ ശുഭയായ ബാലിക തന്റെ പുതിയ അവസ്ഥയെ അനുഗമിച്ചു; ഓരോ നിമിഷവും നൽകിയ, അതേ ജാതിക്ക് യോജിച്ച ആഹാരങ്ങളാൽ അവൾ പോഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
