कमण्डलुव्यग्रकरो भस्मारुणितविग्रहः प्रत्याश्रमं पर्यटन् स तं काल्याश्रममागतः

kamaṇḍaluvyagrakaro bhasmāruṇitavigrahaḥ pratyāśramaṃ paryaṭan sa taṃ kālyāśramamāgataḥ

കമണ്ഡലു പിടിക്കുവാൻ വ്യഗ്രമായ കൈയോടെ, ഭസ്മം പൂശി അരുണിതമായ ദേഹത്തോടെ, ആശ്രമംതോറും സഞ്ചരിച്ച് അവൻ കാളിയുടെ ആ ആശ്രമത്തിലെത്തി।
