It is metaphysical: ‘bīja’ denotes the causal principle from which the cosmos unfolds. In stuti language, it praises the deity as both the origin and the sustaining potency behind manifestation.
They pair immanence with transcendence. The Lord is ‘within’ as the indweller of beings, yet ‘unmanifest’ beyond sensory grasp—capturing a Purāṇic synthesis of personal devotion with Upaniṣadic metaphysics.
