नाज्ञासीच्च पिता पुत्रं न पुत्रः पितरं तथा स्वानेवानये निजघ्नुर्वै परानन्ये च सुव्रत
nājñāsīcca pitā putraṃ na putraḥ pitaraṃ tathā svānevānaye nijaghnurvai parānanye ca suvrata
ആ കലാപത്തിൽ പിതാവ് പുത്രനെ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞില്ല; പുത്രനും പിതാവിനെ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞില്ല. ഹേ സുവ്രത, ചിലർ തെറ്റിദ്ധാരണയിൽ സ്വന്തം ആളുകളെയേയും വധിച്ചു; ചിലർ ശത്രുക്കളല്ലാത്തവരെയും വധിച്ചു.
