अथ सायं समायातो दानवो भीषणाकृतिः । त्रिशूलं कलयन्पाणौ मृत्योरपि भयावहम्
atha sāyaṃ samāyāto dānavo bhīṣaṇākṛtiḥ | triśūlaṃ kalayanpāṇau mṛtyorapi bhayāvaham
അനന്തരം സന്ധ്യാസമയത്ത്, മരണത്തിനുപോലും ഭയം ജനിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ത്രിശൂലം കയ്യിലേന്തി ഭീകരരൂപിയായ ആ ദാനവൻ വന്നെത്തി.
