वरणायास्तटे रम्ये गणौ हुंडनमुंडनौ । क्षेत्ररक्षां विधत्तस्तौ विघ्नस्तंभन कारकौ
varaṇāyāstaṭe ramye gaṇau huṃḍanamuṃḍanau | kṣetrarakṣāṃ vidhattastau vighnastaṃbhana kārakau
വരണാ നദിയുടെ മനോഹര തീരത്ത് ഹുണ്ടനനും മുണ്ടനനും എന്ന രണ്ടു ഗണന്മാർ ഉണ്ട്. അവർ ക്ഷേത്രപരിസരം കാക്കുകയും വിഘ്നങ്ങളെ തടഞ്ഞു നിശ്ചലമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
