महामुण्डा प्रतीच्यां तु चतुःसागरवापिका । तस्यां स्नातो भवेत्स्नातः सागरेषु चतुर्ष्वपि
mahāmuṇḍā pratīcyāṃ tu catuḥsāgaravāpikā | tasyāṃ snāto bhavetsnātaḥ sāgareṣu caturṣvapi
മഹാമുണ്ഡയുടെ പടിഞ്ഞാറ് ‘ചതുഃസാഗര’ എന്ന വാപികയുണ്ട്. അതിൽ സ്നാനം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ നാലു സമുദ്രങ്ങളിലും സ്നാനം ചെയ്തവനായി കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
