होता॑ यक्षत्स॒मिधेन्द्र॑मि॒डस्प॒दे नाभा॑ पृथि॒व्या अधि॑ । दि॒वो वर्ष्म॒न्त्समि॑ध्यत॒ ओजि॑ष्ठश्चर्षणी॒सहां॒ वेत्वाज्य॑स्य॒ होत॒र्यज॑

Transliteration

hótā yakṣat samídhéndram iḍás-páde nā́bhā pṛthivyā́ ádhi | divó várṣman samídhyata ójiṣṭhaś carṣaṇī-sáhāṁ vétv ā́jyasya hótar yája

Translation

ഹോതൃ സമിധിനാൽ ഇന്ദ്രനെ യജിക്കട്ടെ—ഇഡാ-പദത്തിൽ, ഭൂമിയുടെ നാഭിയിൽ; ദിവത്തിന്റെ ശിഖരത്തിൽ അവൻ പ്രജ്വലിക്കട്ടെ. അത്യന്തം ഓജസ്വി, ജനങ്ങളുടെ സഹായകൻ—ഘൃതാഹുതിയിലേക്കു വരട്ടെ. ഹോതൃ, യജിക്ക!
