प्र बा॒हवा॑ सिसृतं जी॒वसे॑ न॒ आ नो॒ गव्यू॑तिमुक्षतं घृ॒तेन॑ । आ मा॒ जने॑ श्रवयतं युवाना श्रु॒तं मे॑ मित्रावरुणा॒ हवे॒मा

Transliteration

prá bā́havā sisṛtaṃ jīváse na ā́ no gavyū́tim ukṣataṃ ghṛténa | ā́ mā́ jáne śravayataṃ yúvānā śrutáṃ me mitrā́varuṇā háve imā́

Translation

ഞങ്ങളുടെ ജീവൻ നിലനിൽക്കുവാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ബാഹുക്കൾ മുന്നോട്ടു നീട്ടുവിൻ; ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി ഗവ്യൂതി—ഗോമാർഗം—ഘൃതംകൊണ്ട് നനയ്ക്കുവിൻ. ഹേ യുവദ്വയം, ജനങ്ങളിൽ എന്നെ ശ്രവണമാക്കുവിൻ; ഹേ മിത്ര-വരുണ, എന്റെ ഈ ഹവേമാ—ആഹ്വാനങ്ങൾ—ശ്രുതമാകട്ടെ.
