Transliteration dvé sṛtī́ aśṛṇavaṃ pitṝṇā́m aháṃ devā́nām utá mártyānām | tā́bhyām idáṃ víśvam éjat saméti yád antárā pitáraṃ mātáraṃ ca ||
Translation ഞാൻ രണ്ട് ഗതികളെ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു—പിതൃകളുടേയും ദേവന്മാരുടേയും മർത്ത്യന്മാരുടേയും. ആ രണ്ടിനാൽ ഈ മുഴുവൻ ചലിക്കുന്ന ലോകം ഒന്നിക്കുന്നു—പിതാവിനും മാതാവിനും ഇടയിൽ ഉള്ളത്.
