Procedure for the Earthen Liṅga Worship

मनुना सौजीव इति देवतान्यासमाचरेत् । असौ योवसर्पतीति चाचरेदपसर्पणम्

Transliteration

manunā saujīva iti devatānyāsamācaret | asau yovasarpatīti cācaredapasarpaṇam

Translation

മനു ഉപദേശിച്ച “സൗജീവ…” മന്ത്രം ജപിച്ച് ദേഹത്തിൽ ദേവതാ-ന്യാസം നടത്തണം. തുടർന്ന് “അസൗ യോऽവസർപതീ…” എന്ന സൂത്രംകൊണ്ട് അപസർപ്പണകർമ്മം ചെയ്ത് വിഘ്നകാരക ശക്തികളെ അകറ്റി, ശിവപൂജ നിർവിഘ്നമായി നടക്കുമാറാക്കണം.
