tadāhaṃ brāhmaṇārthāya kalau tasminyugāntike | bhaviṣyāmi śivāyuktaḥ śveto nāma mahāmuniḥ
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
Cosmic Event: Kali-yuga yugānta (end-juncture of the age)
It declares Śiva’s compassionate resolve to uphold dharma in Kali Yuga by manifesting a saintly form (Śveta) empowered by His own presence, showing that liberation and protection arise through Śiva’s grace working within enlightened teachers.
By stating “śivāyuktaḥ,” the verse emphasizes Saguna Śiva’s accessible, active grace—Śiva can be approached through embodied forms, saints, and worship (including Liṅga-upāsanā) to sustain dharma and lead devotees toward the Supreme.
The takeaway is reliance on Śiva’s grace through disciplined devotion: daily remembrance of Śiva, japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and honoring Śaiva teachers who embody Śiva’s guidance in Kali Yuga.
