Suta Goswami (narrating the episode; the verse reports 'she spoke' after bowing to Shiva)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Sthala Purana: The devotee’s overwhelming joy upon beholding Śiva’s form is a standard darśana-fruit motif; not tied here to a specific Jyotirliṅga locale.
Significance: Darśana produces harṣa (rapture) and praṇāma (surrender), marking the paśu’s turning from self-effort (tapas) to receptivity to grace.
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
It highlights the Shaiva Siddhanta mood that grace awakens through śravaṇa (hearing Śiva’s words) and darśana (beholding His form), culminating in humble surrender (praṇāma) and devotion that naturally moves the soul to right speech and right approach.
The verse emphasizes Saguna-darśana—meeting Śiva in a perceivable form—which parallels Linga-worship where the devotee approaches Śiva with reverence, receives inner joy, and responds through prayer, praise, and disciplined devotion.
A simple sādhanā is implied: begin with śravaṇa of Śiva-kathā or mantra, cultivate darśana-bhāva before the Linga or Śiva’s image, offer praṇāma (prostration), and then speak/pray with humility—optionally supported by japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya.”
