गृहस्थ-जीवनसंस्काराः तथा पुत्रजन्म-शुभलक्षणवर्णनम् / Household Saṃskāras and the Auspicious Portents of a Son’s Birth

इति नाम ददौ तस्मै देयमेकादशेऽहनि । नामकर्मविधानेन तदर्थश्रुतिमुच्चरन्

ഇങ്ങനെ അദ്ദേഹം ശിശുവിന് നാമം നൽകി—അത് പതിനൊന്നാം ദിവസം നൽകേണ്ടതായിരുന്നു. നാമകർമ്മവിധിപ്രകാരം, ആ നാമത്തിന്റെ അർത്ഥം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന ശ്രുതിവാക്യം ഉച്ചരിച്ചു।
