Manifestation of Śiva’s Saṃhāra-Form

Tattva Level: pashu
Sthala Purana: Not site-specific; it prescribes śravaṇa-pāṭha (hearing/recitation) as a means to generate navadhā-bhakti and inner purification.
Significance: Frames ‘pilgrimage’ inwardly: purification of antaḥkaraṇa and buddhi through disciplined listening/recitation among Śiva-souled devotees.
Type: stotra
Role: teaching
It teaches that disciplined listening (śravaṇa) and study (pāṭha) of Shiva’s sacred teaching is itself a divine sādhanā that awakens navadhā bhakti and refines the mind and intellect toward liberation.
By emphasizing hearing and recitation, it supports Saguna Shiva worship through Shiva-kathā, stotra, and mantra practice—devotional engagement that steadies the mind so it can approach Shiva’s presence, including Linga worship, with purity and discrimination.
Regular śravaṇa and pāṭha of Shiva Purana passages or Shiva-stotras, ideally alongside japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), as a daily practice to cultivate devotion and inner clarity.
