संहाररूप-प्रादुर्भावः
Manifestation of Śiva’s Saṃhāra-Form
प्रार्थनीयो नमस्तस्मै मद्भक्तैस्सिद्धिकारिभिः । मद्भक्तप्रवरश्चैव मद्भक्तवर दायकः
prārthanīyo namastasmai madbhaktaissiddhikāribhiḥ | madbhaktapravaraścaiva madbhaktavara dāyakaḥ
Lord Shiva (inferred from first-person usage ‘mad-’, ‘My devotees’ within Śatarudrasaṃhitā discourse)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Significance: General phala-śruti logic: honoring the foremost Śiva-bhakta grants siddhi and boons through Śiva’s anugraha mediated by his devotees.
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
Offering: pushpa
The verse exalts the supreme value of Shiva-bhakti: a foremost devotee becomes venerable even to other devotees, and through Shiva’s grace can become an instrument for spiritual attainments (siddhi) and blessings, pointing to Pati’s grace flowing through purified bhaktas.
In Saguna Shiva worship (including Linga-upasana), devotees approach Shiva through prayer and salutations; this verse highlights the Shaiva community ideal where honoring exalted Shiva-bhaktas is part of devotion, because their blessings and guidance support one’s approach to Shiva.
Offer namaskara and heartfelt prayer (prārthanā) to Shiva and to exemplary Shiva-devotees; accompany it with steady japa of the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) as the primary meditative takeaway for attaining Shiva’s grace and inner siddhi.
