ब्राह्मणीमरणवर्णनम् (Account of the Brahmin Woman’s Death) — within Nandikeśvara-māhātmya
पुरा युधिष्ठिरेणैव पृष्टश्च ऋषिसत्तमः । यथोवाच तथा वच्मि भवत्स्नेहानुसारतः
purā yudhiṣṭhireṇaiva pṛṣṭaśca ṛṣisattamaḥ | yathovāca tathā vacmi bhavatsnehānusārataḥ
പണ്ടുകാലത്ത് യുദ്ധിഷ്ഠിരൻ തന്നേ ആ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ ഋഷിയെ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തു. അദ്ദേഹം അന്ന് പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ തന്നെ, നിങ്ങളോടുള്ള സ്നേഹത്തിൽ പ്രേരിതനായി ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ പറയുന്നു.
