Śiva–Hari–Rudra–Vidhīnāṃ Tattva-nirṇayaḥ

ईशानः सर्वविद्यानां श्रुतिरेषा सनातनी । वेदकर्ता वेदपतिस्तस्माच्छंभुरुदाहृतः

īśānaḥ sarvavidyānāṃ śrutireṣā sanātanī | vedakartā vedapatistasmācchaṃbhurudāhṛtaḥ

ഈശാനൻ സർവ്വവിദ്യകളുടെയും പ്രഭു—ഇതു സനാതന ശ്രുതി പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുന്നു. അവൻ വേദകർത്താവും വേദപതിയും ആകയാൽ ‘ശംഭു’ എന്നു കീർത്തിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
