चकार सुचरित्रा सानसूया मुनिकामिनी । दैत्याश्च दानवाः सर्वे दृष्ट्वा तु सुन्दरीं तदा

cakāra sucaritrā sānasūyā munikāminī | daityāśca dānavāḥ sarve dṛṣṭvā tu sundarīṃ tadā

അപ്പോൾ സുസ്വഭാവവും സദാചാരവും ഉള്ള മുനിപ്രിയയായ അനസൂയ അങ്ങനെ തന്നെയാചരിച്ചു. ആ സുന്ദരിയെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ എല്ലാ ദൈത്യരും ദാനവരും മനസ്സിൽ കലങ്ങിപ്പോയി।
