रावणस्य तपः-शिवानुग्रहः — Rāvaṇa’s Austerity and Śiva’s Bestowal of Grace
सूत उवाच । इत्युक्तस्स हितं मेने रावणो विधिमोहित । सत्यं मत्वा मुनेर्वाक्यं कैलासमगमत्तदा
sūta uvāca | ityuktassa hitaṃ mene rāvaṇo vidhimohita | satyaṃ matvā munervākyaṃ kailāsamagamattadā
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇങ്ങനെ പറയപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ, വിധിയുടെ മായയിൽ രാവണൻ അതിനെ തന്റെ ഹിതമെന്നു കരുതി. മുനിയുടെ വാക്ക് സത്യമെന്നു വിശ്വസിച്ച്, അവൻ അപ്പോൾ കൈലാസത്തിലേക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
