रावणस्य तपः-शिवानुग्रहः — Rāvaṇa’s Austerity and Śiva’s Bestowal of Grace
यदि चैवोद्धृतश्चायं कैलासो हि भविष्यति । तदैव सफलं सर्वं भविष्यति न संशयः
yadi caivoddhṛtaścāyaṃ kailāso hi bhaviṣyati | tadaiva saphalaṃ sarvaṃ bhaviṣyati na saṃśayaḥ

Significance: Frames ‘success/fruitfulness’ as contingent on restoring dharma-order around Śiva’s abode; hints that true fruition comes when the paśu aligns with the Lord’s will (opening toward grace).
The verse declares that when Kailāsa—Śiva’s supreme abode and symbol of the highest auspicious state—is restored or firmly established, all spiritual aims become ‘fruitful.’ In Shaiva Siddhānta terms, nearness to Śiva’s dhāma signifies the ripening of grace (anugraha) and the completion of one’s sacred undertaking.
Kailāsa here points to Saguna Śiva’s manifest presence as Lord of sacred space. Just as a Jyotirlinga or a consecrated Linga makes Śiva accessible to devotees, the establishment of Kailāsa signifies the successful manifestation of Śiva’s protective and beneficent power, making worship and vows efficacious.
The takeaway is to complete one’s vrata or pilgrimage with steadfast Śiva-bhakti—reciting the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), offering bilva leaves, and maintaining purity—so that the act becomes ‘saphala’ (spiritually fruitful) by Śiva’s grace.
