गौतम उवाच । यदि प्रसन्नो देवेश यदि देयो वरो मम । यदहं प्रार्थयाम्यद्य कर्तव्यं हि त्वया तथा

gautama uvāca | yadi prasanno deveśa yadi deyo varo mama | yadahaṃ prārthayāmyadya kartavyaṃ hi tvayā tathā

ഗൗതമൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ദേവേശ്വരാ! നിങ്ങൾ പ്രസന്നനായി എനിക്ക് വരം നൽകുവാൻ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ, ഇന്ന് ഞാൻ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നതുതന്നെ നിങ്ങൾ അതുപോലെ നിർവഹിക്കണം।
