Narration of the Greatness of the Jyotirliṅga and Associated Liṅgas
त्रिजगच्छम्भुना व्याप्तं सदेवासुरमानुषम् । अनुग्रहाय लोकानां लिंगरूपेण सत्तमाः
trijagacchambhunā vyāptaṃ sadevāsuramānuṣam | anugrahāya lokānāṃ liṃgarūpeṇa sattamāḥ
ദേവന്മാരും അസുരന്മാരും മനുഷ്യരും ഉൾപ്പെടെ ത്രിലോകവും ശംഭുവാൽ വ്യാപ്തമാണ്. സർവ്വലോകങ്ങളുടെ അനുഗ്രഹത്തിനായി ആ പരമോന്നതൻ ലിംഗരൂപത്തിൽ അധിഷ്ഠിതനാകുന്നു.

It teaches that Shiva is both transcendent and immanent: He pervades all realms and beings, yet compassionately becomes approachable through the Liṅga so devotees can receive grace and move toward liberation.
Although Shiva is formless and all-pervading, the Liṅga is His saguna, worship-worthy manifestation—an accessible support for devotion and contemplation, especially central to Kotirudra themes like Jyotirlinga pilgrimage.
Liṅga-pūjā with Panchākṣarī mantra japa ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") is implied as a direct practice to receive Śiva’s anugraha; meditating on the Liṅga as the presence of the all-pervading Śambhu aligns worship with inner realization.
