vi tvadāpo na parvatasya pṛṣṭhādukthebhiragne janayanta devāḥ taṃ tvā giraḥ suṣṭutayo vājayantyājiṃ na girvavāho jigyuraśvāḥ

പർവ്വതത്തിന്റെ പൃഷ്ഠത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ജലം പൊട്ടിപ്പുറപ്പെടുന്നതുപോലെ, ഹേ അഗ്നേ, ദേവന്മാർ ഉക്തികളായ സ്തുതികളാൽ നിന്നെ പ്രകടമാക്കി. നന്നായി ഉച്ചരിച്ച ഗിരഃ/സ്തുതികൾ നിന്നെ വിജയിയാക്കുന്നു; ഹേ ഗിർവവാഹ, കുതിരകൾ മത്സരത്തിൽ ജയിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, അവ (സ്തുതികൾ) നിന്നെ ജയിക്കുന്നു (അഥവാ നിന്നെ പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു).
