मा नः सोम सं वीविजो मा वि बीभिषथा राजन् । मा नो हार्दि त्विषा वधीः ॥
Transliteration
mā naḥ soma sáṃ vīvijo mā ví bībhiṣathā rājan | mā no hārdi tviṣā vadhīḥ ||
Translation
ഹേ സോമ, ഞങ്ങളിലെ അന്തർരാജാവേ, ഞങ്ങളെ അതിയായി അമർത്തരുതേ; അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായ പ്രചണ്ഡബലത്തോടെ ഞങ്ങളെ ഭീതിപ്പെടുത്തരുതേ. നിന്റെ ദീപ്തമായ തീവ്രതകൊണ്ട് ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ പ്രഹരിക്കരുതേ.
