ते दीनमनसस्सर्वे शुश्रुवुः काननौकसः।।।।वानरेन्द्रस्य निर्घोषं पर्जन्यनिनदोपमम्।

Transliteration

te dīna-manasaḥ sarve śuśruvuḥ kānanaukasaḥ |

vānarendrasya nirghoṣaṃ parjanya-ninadopamam ||

Translation

കാനനവാസികളായ ആ എല്ലാ വാനരന്മാരും ദീനമനസ്സോടെ വാനരേന്ദ്രന്റെ മഹാനിർഘോഷം കേട്ടു—ഇടിമേഘത്തിന്റെ ഗർജ്ജനത്തിനെപ്പോലെ।
