किमेष भगवान्नन्दी भवेत्साक्षादिहागतः।।।।येन शप्तोऽस्मि कैलासे मया सञ्चालिते पुरा।सोऽयं वानरमूर्तिस्स्यात्किंस्विद्बाणो महाऽसुरः।।।।

kim eṣa bhagavān nandī bhavet sākṣād ihāgataḥ |

yena śapto ’smi kailāse mayā sañcālite purā |

so ’yaṃ vānarāmūrtiḥ syāt kiṃsvid bāṇo mahāsuraḥ ||

ഇത് ഭഗവാൻ നന്ദി തന്നെയോ, സ്വയം ഇവിടെ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്? ഒരിക്കൽ ഞാൻ കൈലാസം കുലുക്കിയപ്പോൾ എന്നെ ശപിച്ചവൻ അവനായിരുന്നു. അവൻ വാനരമൂർത്തി ധരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ? അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മഹാസുരനായ ബാണനോ ഇത്?
