Sita’s Recognition and Reassurance by the Envoy

सा रामसङ्कीर्तनवीतशोका रामस्य शोकेन समानशोका।शरन्मुखे साम्बुदशेषचन्द्रा निशेव वैदेहसुता बभूव।।।।

sā rāmasaṅkīrtanavītaśokā rāmasya śokena samānaśokā | śaranmukhe sāmbudaśeṣacandrā niśeva vaidehasutā babhūva ||

രാമകീർത്തനം കേട്ടു ദുഃഖം ശമിച്ചിട്ടും, രാമന്റെ ദുഃഖത്തോടു സമദുഃഖയായ വൈദേഹി ശരദ്രാത്രിപോലെ ദീപ്തയായി—ശേഷമേഘങ്ങൾ ഭാഗികമായി മറച്ച ചന്ദ്രനെപ്പോലെ.
