Sita’s Lament amid Rākṣasī Threats
न मानुषी राक्षसस्य भार्या भवितुमर्हति।
कामं खादत मां सर्वा न करिष्यामि वो वचः।।5.25.3।।
na mānuṣī rākṣasasya bhāryā bhavitum arhati | kāmaṃ khādata māṃ sarvā na kariṣyāmi vo vacaḥ || 5.25.3 ||
മാനുഷസ്ത്രീ രാക്ഷസന്റെ ഭാര്യയാകാൻ യോഗ്യമല്ല; നിങ്ങൾക്കിഷ്ടമെങ്കിൽ എല്ലാവരും എന്നെ തിന്നോളൂ—നിങ്ങളുടെ കല്പന ഞാൻ അനുസരിക്കില്ല.
