रावणस्य तर्जनं सीताया धर्मोक्तिः
Ravana’s Threats and Sita’s Dharma-Centered Reply
नापहर्तुमहं शक्या त्वया रामस्य धीमतः।विधिस्तव वधार्थाय विहितो नात्र संशयः।।।।
nāpahartum ahaṁ śakyā tvayā rāmasya dhīmataḥ | vidhis tava vadhārthāya vihito nātra saṁśayaḥ ||
ബുദ്ധിമാനായ രാമന്റെ സംരക്ഷണത്തിൽ ഞാൻ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കെ നീ എന്നെ അപഹരിക്കാൻ കഴിയുമായിരുന്നില്ല. നിന്റെ വധത്തിനായിട്ടുതന്നെ വിധി ഇതെല്ലാം ക്രമപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇതിൽ സംശയമില്ല.
