एकवेणी धराशय्या ध्यानं मलिनमम्बरम्।अस्थानेऽप्युपवासश्च नैतान्यौपयिकानि ते।।5.20.8।।
ekaveṇī dharāśayyā dhyānaṃ malinam ambaram |
asthāne 'py upavāsaś ca naitāny aupayikāni te ||5.20.8||
ഒറ്റ വേണി കെട്ടി, ഭൂമിയെ ശയ്യയാക്കി കിടന്ന്, ധ്യാനത്തിൽ മുങ്ങി, മലിനവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചു, അസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ ഉപവാസം ചെയ്യുന്നതും—ഹേ ദേവി, ഇവ ഒന്നും നിനക്കു യോജിച്ചതല്ല.
