रावणस्य सीताप्रलोभनम्

न हि वैदेहि रामस्त्वां द्रष्टुं वा प्युपलप्स्यते।पुरोबलाकैरसितैर्मेघैर्ज्योत्स्नामिवावृताम्।।5.20.27।।

na hi vaidehi rāmas tvāṃ draṣṭuṃ vāpy upalapsyate | purobalākair asitair meghair jyotsnām ivāvṛtām || 5.20.27 ||

ഹേ വൈദേഹി! മുന്നിൽ കൊക്കുകൾ പറക്കുന്ന കറുത്ത മേഘങ്ങൾ മൂടിയ ചന്ദ്രജ്യോത്സ്നയെപ്പോലെ, രാമന് നിന്നെ കാണുവാനും പോലും കഴിയുകയില്ല.
