रावणस्य सीताप्रलोभनम्
Ravana’s Persuasion and Coercive Courtship of Sita
स तां परिवृतां दीनां निरानन्दां तपस्विनीम्।साकारैर्मधुरैर्वाक्यैर्न्यदर्शयत रावणः।।5.20.1।।
sa tāṃ parivṛtāṃ dīnāṃ nirānandāṃ tapasvinīm | sākārair madhurair vākyair nyadarśayata rāvaṇaḥ ||
കാവൽക്കാരാൽ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ട, ദീനയും ആനന്ദരഹിതയുമായ തപസ്വിനി സീതയെ രാവണൻ മധുരവും ചാതുര്യപൂർണ്ണവുമായ വാക്കുകളാൽ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തു; തന്റെ ഉദ്ദേശം അവളുടെ മേൽ അടിച്ചേൽപ്പിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു.
