रावणभवनपरिक्रमणं हनूमतः शोकविचारश्च
Hanuman’s Circuit of Ravana’s Palace and the Crisis of Deliberation
तं तु कृच्छ्रगतं दृष्ट्वा पञ्चत्वगतमानसम्।।।।भृशानुरक्तो मेधावी न भविष्यति लक्ष्मणः।
taṁ tu kṛcchragataṁ dṛṣṭvā pañcatvagatamānasam | bhṛśānurakto medhāvī na bhaviṣyati lakṣmaṇaḥ ||
അവനെ (ശ്രീരാമനെ) അത്യന്തം ദുരിതത്തിൽ മുങ്ങി, മനസ്സ് പഞ്ചത്വം പ്രാപിച്ചതുപോലെ കണ്ടാൽ, അതീവ അനുരക്തനും ബുദ്ധിമാനുമായ ലക്ഷ്മണനും ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുകയില്ല.
"Seeing Rama in such a painful state, wise Lakshmana who has given his life to Rama, to whom he is deeply devoted will also not survive.
