रावणान्तःपुरे शयनदर्शनम्

Hanumān Observes Rāvaṇa’s Inner Apartments and Sleeping Court

ददर्श स कपिस्तत्र बाहू शयनसंस्थितौ।मन्दरस्यांतरे सुप्तौ महाही रुषिताविव।।।।

dadarśa sa kapis tatra bāhū śayanasaṃsthitau |

mandarasyāntare suptau mahāhī ruṣitāv iva ||

അവിടെ കപിവീരൻ ശയ്യയിൽ പതിഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്ന രണ്ടു ഭുജങ്ങളെ കണ്ടു—മന്ദരപർവതത്തിന്റെ ഗുഹയ്ക്കുള്ളിൽ ഉറങ്ങുന്ന രണ്ടു മഹാസർപ്പങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ, ഇപ്പോഴും ക്രോധം നിറഞ്ഞവയെന്നപോലെ।
