सूर्यानुगमनवृत्तान्तः
The Account of Following the Sun
जटायुर्मामनापृच्छ्य निपपात महीं ततः।तं दृष्ट्वा तूर्णमाकाशादात्मानं मुक्तवानहम्।।।।
jaṭāyur mām anāpṛcchya nipapāta mahīṃ tataḥ | taṃ dṛṣṭvā tūrṇam ākāśād ātmānaṃ muktavān aham ||
എന്നോട് വിട ചോദിക്കാതെ ജടായു പിന്നെ ഭൂമിയിലേക്കു കുതിച്ചു വീണു; അവനെ അങ്ങനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ഞാനും ആകാശത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വേഗത്തിൽ തന്നെ വിട്ടുവിട്ട് താഴേക്ക് വീണു.
