सूर्यानुगमनवृत्तान्तः
The Account of Following the Sun
मनश्च मे हतं भूयस्सन्निवर्त्यतु संश्रयम्।यत्नेन महता ह्यस्मिन्पुनस्सन्धाय चक्षुषी।।।।यत्नेन महता भूयो भास्करः प्रतिलोकितः।तुल्यः पृथ्वीप्रमाणेन भास्करः प्रतिभाति नौ।।।।
manaś ca me hataṃ bhūyaḥ sannivartyatu saṃśrayam | yatnena mahatā hy asmin punas sandhāya cakṣuṣī ||
yatnena mahatā bhūyo bhāskaraḥ pratilokitaḥ | tulyaḥ pṛthvīpramāṇena bhāskaraḥ pratibhāti nau ||
എന്റെ മനസ് വീണ്ടും വിറച്ച് ആശ്രയത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പിന്മാറി; പിന്നെ മഹാപ്രയത്നത്തോടെ കണ്ണുകൾ വീണ്ടും അതിലേക്കു ചേർത്ത് ഞാൻ ഭാസ്കരനെ വീണ്ടും ദർശിച്ചു. ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ഭാസ്കരൻ ഭൂമിയുടെ അളവിനൊത്തത്ര വലുതായി തോന്നി.
