Svayamprabha’s Dialogue with the Vanaras
अगस्त्यचरितामाशां दक्षिणां यमरक्षिताम्।सहैभिर्वानरैर्घोरैरङ्गदप्रमुखैर्वयम्।।।।रावणं सहितास्सर्वे राक्षसं कामरूपिणम्।सीतया सह वैदेह्या मार्गध्वमिति चोदिताः।।।।
agastyacaritām āśāṃ dakṣiṇāṃ yamarakṣitām | sahaibhir vānarair ghorair aṅgadapramukhair vayam || rāvaṇaṃ sahitāḥ sarve rākṣasaṃ kāmarūpiṇam | sītayā saha vaidehyā mārgadhvam iti coditāḥ ||
അഗസ്ത്യമുനി സഞ്ചരിച്ചും യമധർമ്മരാജൻ കാത്തും നിൽക്കുന്ന ദക്ഷിണ ദിക്കിലേക്കാണ്, അങ്ങദനെ നേതാവാക്കി, ഈ ഭയങ്കര വാനരന്മാരോടൊപ്പം ഞങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും അയക്കപ്പെട്ടത്. ‘വൈദേഹീ സീതയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുവിൻ; രൂപം മാറുന്ന രാക്ഷസൻ രാവണനെയും കണ്ടെത്തുവിൻ’ എന്നായിരുന്നു കല്പന.
