मैत्रीप्रतिष्ठा
Rama–Sugriva Alliance and Fire-Rite of Friendship
तस्यास्य वसतोऽरण्ये नियतस्य महात्मनः।रावणेन हृता भार्या स त्वां शरणमागतः4.5.4।।
tasyāsya vasato 'raṇye niyatasya mahātmanaḥ |
rāvaṇena hṛtā bhāryā sa tvāṃ śaraṇam āgataḥ || 4.5.4 ||
ആ മഹാത്മാവ് വനത്തിൽ നിയന്ത്രിതനായി വസിക്കുമ്പോൾ രാവണൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഭാര്യയെ അപഹരിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ട് അവൻ നിന്റെ ശരണം തേടി വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
Sugriva, very much pleased with the words of Rama, spoke highly (of him).
