dvīpas tasyāpare pāre śatayojanam āyataḥ |

agamyo mānuṣair dīptas taṃ mārgadhvaṃ samantataḥ ||

അതിന്റെ അപ്പുറത്തുള്ള ദൂരക്കരയിൽ നൂറു യോജന വ്യാപ്തിയുള്ള ദീപ്തമായ ഒരു ദ്വീപുണ്ട്—മനുഷ്യർക്കു പ്രാപ്യമല്ല. അതിനെ എല്ലാ ദിക്കുകളിലും സമഗ്രമായി അന്വേഷിക്കുവിൻ.
